The Largest A2 Dairy Herd in the U.S.

Braum’s Dairy Farm is home to the largest A2 dairy herd in the United States. This transition to A2 milk didn’t happen overnight—it took over 12 years to build and establish a dedicated A2-only herd. Now, Braum’s produces its exclusive A2 fresh milk and dairy products, available only at Braum’s stores.

What is A2 Fresh Milk?

Cow’s milk contains two primary protein groups: casein and whey. Casein makes up about 30% of the proteins, and it exists in two forms: A1 and A2. Depending on genetics, dairy cows can produce either A1, A2, or a mix of both.

Many conventional dairy cows produce a combination of A1 and A2 proteins. However, emerging research suggests that A1 proteins may be harder to digest, leading to inflammation or discomfort in some individuals. A2 milk, on the other hand, is naturally free from A1 proteins, making it a potentially better option for those with mild dairy sensitivities.

Why Choose Braum’s A2 Fresh Milk?

Braum’s A2 fresh milk delivers the same rich, creamy taste customers love, while potentially being gentler on digestion. It remains loaded with calcium and protein, thanks to Braum’s unique Mechanical Vapor Recompression Evaporator, which removes excess water and naturally fortifies the milk.

Braum’s ensures milk purity by genetically testing every cow in their A2 herd to guarantee that only A2 milk is produced—completely free from A1 proteins.

Braum’s Milk Prices
